Hi everyone!
Marije here with another update from the air. It's currently 10.30 and the airplane just took off. Destination: Limnos and then further to Amsterdam. We left earlier than expected because in the planning the plain would take off at 10.45. I'm currently in the air with a height of about 4,5 kilometres and the flight should be about 45 minutes to Limnos. The airport on Samos was quiet an experience already because it is really small so everything is quiet different and cannot be compared to Schiphol at all.
I had an absolute wonderful time on Samos and I am going to miss the beautiful island. I cannot deny the fact though that I am also really excited to see my friends, boyfriend and family again. According to the planning I will land 14.35 local time (so for my current timezone thay would be 15.35).
I am very grateful that I could stay with my family for a while and I cannot thank Rentia, Han and especially Mirjam and Alexis enough. I will definitely go back to Samos when I have some time.
As promised I will post some pictures of the restaurant when I get back home.
That's about it for now and this is also going to be my last blog. For those of you who have read some of my posts or maybe even all of them, thank you and I hope you liked it. For me Wiswex was an amazing experience and I learned a lot. I am currently travelling on my own which I was pretty scared of before. I sat in a bus with strangers and I had some lovely conversations. Apparently they also told the woman who I joined for that day that they liked me and that I made a good assistant. That made me really happy. I have said it so many times already but I had an amazing time and thanks again to Mirjam and Alexis. If you are ever on Samos, go to Kokkari and visit the restaurant La Bussola. I can promise you that you will have a great time.
